Dalit organizations close India on April 2 to save SC / ST act

New Delhi / Ranchi: The Dalit organization is angry with the Supreme Court's decision to relax the provision of quick action of the SC / ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Dalit organizations across the country have called for the closure of Parliament on April 1 and the closure of India on April 2 against the decision of the apex court.
They demand that the Central Government file an appeal against this decision of the Supreme Court and restoring the system of quick justice to the Dalits. The social and political organizations of Jharkhand have also supported this movement. Intelligence agencies have issued alerts in view of the closure of Jharkhand

Ashok Bharti, principal adviser to the National Confederation of Dalit Tribal Organization (NACDAOR), led by Dalit organizations said that on Sunday, people of Dalit organizations will be united in Delhi and from there they will march towards Parliament House.

On Sunday morning, Bharati tweeted that Union minister Thawarchand Gehlot has appealed to people belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to withdraw their movement, but people do not come in their hoax.
