BCCI will conduct media rights auction of bilateral series, Jio also waist
Six media companies, including Star, Sony, Geo, Facebook and Google, will bid for e-auction tomorrow for media rights of the domestic cricket team of the domestic cricket team. BCCI will conduct bidding process for these media rights through e-auction for the first time in Mumbai in Mumbai. This right will be for five years from April 2018 to March 2023. The e-auction process will replace BCCI's traditional 'closed bid' in auction model (in sealed envelope). The Cricket Administrators' Committee thinks that online bidding is a transparent way to know the competitive price.
