In July 1879, Russell began publishing the presence of the monthly religious journal, the Xion Watch Tower and the Herald of Christ. In 1881, he co-founded Xieon's Watch Tower Tract Society as President of William Henry Conley; In 1884 the corporation was officially registered, as President of Russell. Russell wrote many articles, books, tracts, booklets and teachings, of which there are about 50,000 printed pages.
From 1886 to 194, he originally published a six-volume Bible study series called Millennial Dawn, which was later renamed the Studies in the Scriptures, of which nearly 20 million copies were printed and during his lifetime, Delivered throughout (Seventh volume was started by his successor as Joseph Rutherford, president of society, and was published in 1917.) The Watch Tower Society stopped publishing Russell's writings in 1927, although his Books have still been published by several independent groups.
After Russell's death, a crisis arose around Rutherford's leadership of the society, which ended in an agitation-wide dispute. Approximately 50,000 [5] of the Bible Students who were collaborating in 1917, three-quarters of them went back to 1931.
As a result of this change, many groups have been formed which maintain the differences in the name of Bible students. People who organized with the Watch Tower Society adopted the name of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1931, whereas those who broke the relationship with the Society founded the 1918 Holy Bible Institute, LeMen's Home Missionary Movement and Don bible created their own groups including students.
