Shiv Sena has retained possession of the Mumbai Bachelor seats. Shiv Sena is in possession of the Mumbai Bachelor seat since 1985. Senior Shiv Sena leader Pramod Navalkar had won three times from here. The current health minister Deepak Sawant has also won twice. Shiv Sena candidate Vilas Potinis won this seat this time. He defeated BJP's Ameet Kumar Mehta by 11,562 votes.
At the same time, the BJP won the Konkan Graduate seat. BJP candidate from Konkan constituency, Niranjan Dawkhare, who left the NCP just before the election and joined the saffron party. He defeated Shiv Sena candidate Sanjay More.
Kapil Patil of Lok Bharti Party for the third consecutive time has won the Mumbai Teacher's seat. On the other hand, Kishor Darade, an Independent candidate from Nashik Teacher's seat, won. They had the support of Shiv Sena. A total of 71 candidates were in the fray for these four seats. Voting for these seats was made on June 25.
