On sharing the virtual ID, the service provider will get a UID token instead of the base number. At the time of authentication of Aadhaar number, you can now only give VID. You will not need to share the base number. In this way the base authentication will be safer than ever. Along with this, UIDAI has also ordered the service provider to share at least information.
 

What is VID?Aadhaar virtual ID is a type of tarpary number. This is a 16-digit number. If it is called cloned of the base then it will not be wrong. There will be only a few details in this. UIDAI will give users the opportunity to create a virtual ID of every base. If anyone has to give details of his or her base, then he can give a 16-digit virtual ID instead of a 12 digit base number. Where Can VID Be Generated?Aadhaar virtual ID can be generated from the portal of UIDAI. This will be a digital ID. The base holder can generate it several times.
