Muharram 2018 India | Muharram 2018 Holiday

In 2018, Al-Hijra / Muharram will start on Tuesday, September 11 (11/9/2018) and will continue until 9 October until Tuesday, 29 days.
Note that in the Muslim calendar, the holidays start on the sunset of the last day, so Muslims will be celebrated Al-Hijra / Muharram on Sunset on Monday, September 21.
Although Al-Hazara / Muharram is always on the same day of the Islamic calendar, the date of the Gregorian calendar varies from year to year, because the Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar and the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar. This difference means that Al-Hijra / Muharram runs for 11 days every year in the Gregorian calendar. Whether or not the Moon has been seen depends on whether the date of Al-Hijra / Muharram can vary from country to country.
The dates given here are based on the dates adopted by the Ficah Council of North America for the festival of Al-Hijra / Muharram. Note that these dates are based on astronomical calculations to prove on every date, not on the actual sight of the Moon with naked eyes. This approach is accepted by many people, but there is still a hot debate
