UP BIHAR Bypoll 2018 LIVE: Voting in Phulpur-Gorakhpur-Araria, CM Yogi Adityanath voted vote

Two Lok Sabha seats (Gorakhpur and Phulpur) in Uttar Pradesh and a Lok Sabha (Arriya) in Bihar, two assembly seats (Jehanabad, Bhabua) on Sunday (March 11) has started voting from 8am. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cast his vote using franchise in his constituency. In Gorakhpur, a total of 10 candidates and 22 candidates in Phulpur are trying their luck. The results of the election will be announced on March 14. The BJP has fielded Upendra Dutt Shukla from Gorakhpur and Kaushendra Singh Patel from Phulpur seat. SP has fielded Praveen Nishad from Gorakhpur and Nagendra Singh Patel from Phulpur. At the same time, Congress has given tickets to Surhita Karim from Gorakhpur and Manish Mishra from Phulpur.

 Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat from where Yogi is absent from Adityanath became vacant due to the resignation given after becoming the Chief Minister. On the other hand, Phulpur seat has been vacant due to the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. There is a possibility of a fight between BJP, SP and Congress in these two seats. The BSP has not contested the by-election. After casting vote, CM Yogi Adityanath said that BJP is essential for development and good governance.
By-elections in three seats in Bihar:Voting continues in Araria Lok Sabha seat in Bihar and Jehanabad, Bhabhua assembly seats. BJP has fielded Rinki Pandey from Bhabua, whereas Congress has made Shambhu Patel as its candidate. RJD and Congress are in the electoral fray under the coalition in Bihar by-election. RJD is contesting from Araria Lok Sabha and Jehanabad assembly constituency.
33 corporate capf allocated to Gorakhpur districtAllahabad district has been allotted 30 companies and one Platoon, one company to Kaushambi district and two platoon and 33 company CAPF to Gorakhpur district. For the duty of law and order, Allahabad has been allotted 2 companies, Kaushambi 1 Platoon and 2 company PAC for Gorakhpur district. The availability of the district police force has been done from the districts of Allahabad and Gorakhpur Zone. According to information received from the DGP's office, 660 sub-inspectors, 277 head constables, 3997 constables and 4702 home guards have been provided to Allahabad district to complete the sub-election.
43 Inspector, 1548 Sub Inspector on Electoral DutyKaushambi district has been given 43 sub-inspectors, 34 head constables, 217 constables and 322 home guards. In Gorakhpur district, 43 Inspectors, 845 Sub Inspectors, 308 Head Constables, 4469 Constables and 5065 Home Guards have been allotted. For the bye-election of both the Lok Sabha constituencies, duty has been imposed for 43 inspectors, 1548 sub-inspectors, 619 head constables, 8683 constables and 10089 home guards for three districts.
