Delhi: In the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha Election, BJP candidate BN Vijay
Kumar from Jaynagar seat died on Friday (May 4th) due to a heart attack.
He was 60 years old and was also the MLA from this seat. Kumar has been known for his honest image and development work. But his death in the middle of the election could be a big setback for the BJP. His funeral will be held this evening. Many political parties have expressed condolences over their demise. Voting for the assembly elections in the state on May 12 and counting on May 15.Bachelors, spoiled health during campaigningDuring the election campaign of Kumar, the sudden disaster was worsened. He was admitted to the Jaidev Institute of Cardiology, where he breathed his last. Kumar was a bachelor and was one of the most prominent figures of the BJP. He was a legislator from this seat for the second time. This time he had to face the Congress candidate Soumya Reddy in the election. Soumya Reddy is the daughter of Karnataka Home Minister R. Ramalinga Reddy.
