Here is Ravana's son-in-law, does not burn the effigy of the effigy
Mahesh Gaohar, president of Jai Lankesh Mitra Mandal, an Indore-based organization of Ravan devotees, said, "We have been celebrating Dussehra as Ravan Moksha Diwas for nearly five decades. Like every time, even this year, we will worship Ravana on Dussehra and will appeal to the people not to combust our idol's statue in the light of our faith. '
'Shiva bhakta hai rawan hai do ketne hai puja'However, the tradition of worship of Ravana is quite the opposite of the prevailing religious beliefs of the Hindus. When asked about this, Gauhar said, "Ravana was the supreme devotee of Lord Shiva and the intellectual scholar, so he is our adoration." Gauhar said that his organization has also constructed a temple of Ravana in the Paradeshpura area of the city. Along with that Ravana Chalisa and Ravan Maha Aarti have also been created. They claim that in Indore alone, 900 people worship Ravana on Dussehra, which includes people from different castes.
This Kunba of Ravan devotees has also spread in Ratlam district of the state, where a social organization of Scheduled Castes Classes is preparing for the worship of the King of Lanka for the first time on Dussehra. Shailendra Khare, the Chief Minister of the state unit of the All India Scheduled Caste Yuvraj Samaj, said, "We worship Ravana and Maha Aarti in the echo of Dhol-Dagad and Hour-Ghodiyals on Dussehra. The people of other castes have also been invited in this program. '
Mandodari Ka MaikaThe experts said that Ravana is also worshiped in Khanapura area of Mandsaur town of the state. The place where Ravana's statue is installed in this area is called 'Ravana Rundi'. It is a fact that Mandsaur's ancient name was 'Daspur' and this place was the mother of Ravana's wife, Mandodari. In view of this, people of Namdev community of Hindus regard Ravana as the "son-in-law of Mandsaur". There is also a temple of Dashanan in Ravana village of Vidisha district of the state, where the ancient statue of this mythical character is installed in a lying down state. The locals worship Dashanan in the form of 'Ravana Baba'.
