The MLAs who did not attend the meeting included Ramesh Jarkiri, B. Nagendra, Umesh Jadhav and Mahesh Kumhattalli. Siddaramaiah said that Jadhav wrote and said that he would not be able to participate in the meeting due to being unhealthy and Nagendra had told Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal that due to a case in court, he could not attend the meeting. He said no information was received from two other MLAs.
After the reply of the MLAs, the next step will be decided.
Siddaramaiah said after the meeting of the legislative party that after getting the answers of the absent MLAs, the issue will be discussed with the party high command and the state leaders and after this the next step will be decided
