Bollywood's talented actor Irrfan Khan died on April 29. He had been battling a serious illness for a long time. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on 28 April, where he took his last mother-in-law. Irrfan gave Bollywood many great films, one was Life in a Metro. Irfan's work was well-liked in this. The film was directed by Anurag Basu.
Anurag Basu was planning to make a sequel to this film. Irrfan Khan was also going to work in it, but now he left this world without working in this film. During an interview, Anurag said, 'I was hoping that Irrfan would come back after defeating cancer. I expected it because I had done it. The treatment was showing an effect on them, so we were hopeful. It is very unfortunate that we could not meet. '
Anurag told that he was in talks with Irrfan about the sequel of the film Life in a Metro. We were waiting for him and stayed at the beginning of the film. We had also talked about the subject of the film and he liked the character.
He said that I had met Irrfan's wife Sutapa while he was undergoing treatment. It was a very long fight. He fought this battle alone away from all. When Irfan's cancer was diagnosed, his wife Sutapa called me for some information, such as how I was treated. I could not meet Irfan but when he was in London I was connected to him via phone. Unfortunately when he returned to the country, I could not meet him.
